Bio-diversity

Bio diversity park is set including ornamental medicinal and all the other types of plants. Bio diversity register was made. Children were given proper instructions to find out the different living things and then group them according to their specialties. Children understood the value of group work and co-operation. In this worlds of nature each living being is closely related to each other and the relationship is necessary for the survival of each of them. It was very interesting and exciting activity for the children. As a part of bio diversity protection campaign seed club member visited Iringol Kavu. The different variety of plants and trees are watched and the children had written down the notes as per the instruction given by the seed coordinator. Iringol Kavu is an awesome place, it is a mini forest and thye children experienced the real thrill and excitement in doing their work. Most of the endangered plants were protected in this place. It was really a great inspiration for the children to protect the endangered plant. We protect the endangered species of plants koovalam, thippili , amalpori chittamruthu etc… in our “DR. N. INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL BIO-DIVERSITY PARK”. We collected thippili seeds (Indian long pepper) the precious medicine from that plant. Children understood the importance of natural medicine.
