Mathrubhumi SEED and Medicinal plant board of Kerala are jointly conducting a competition to promote herbal gardens in schools. Selected 50 schools from each district will be provided with various herbal plants and the schools will be setting up herbal gardens in their premises. The gardens will be evaluated at the end of this education year and best herbal gardens will be awarded with cash prizes and certificates worth five Lakh rupees.
